Official Contest Rules
Name of Sponsor and Contest Administrator:
Sponsor: Heirloom Portraits Inc., P.O. Box 444, Schomberg, Ontario, L0G 1T0. Host: Heirloom Portraits Inc. partners in sales.
Overview of Contest:
The Heirloom Portraits Golden Ticket Contest (the Contest) is a trial for Heirloom Portrait customers who have the chance to win their portrait package for free. The package will be that of a randomly selected customer(s) and will be chosen after the packages have been created. The price/size of the package will not affect the chance of obtaining the ‘Golden Ticket’. The prize will be a one-time offer and will not be of any value after the particular session.
The ‘Golden Ticket’ is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash value. The prize will be the portrait package and exclusive of any additional items ordered by the customer of that sitting. The ‘Golden Ticket’ will be issued to the customer who is registered as the sitting’s contact on the day of the portrait sitting session and cannot be redeemed by any other person. To confirm eligibility to win the chosen contact must answer a skill testing question.
The Contest will have one winner per week from the first week of September, 2011 to the last week of March, 2012. All customers who participate in the family portrait sessions are eligible to win.
Eligibility:
Any individuals (including, but not limited to employees, consultants, contractors and those employed by companies affiliated with Heirloom Portraits) who have, in the past six months, have completed a family portrait sitting session by Heirloom Portraits are automatically entered and eligible to win a free family portrait package if, and only if, a ‘Golden Ticket’ has been issued to the respected customer and is found by said customer in his/her family portrait package.
Eligibility into the Contest is inclusive to promotions which have family portrait packages. This excludes student session where photography is conducted of individual students in their classes as well as student pictures taken for school proof purposes during a family portrait session.
To confirm eligibility to win the chosen contact must answer a skill testing question.
Winners must be over the age of 18 to win.
How to Enter:
No purchase of final portrait package is necessary (past or present), nor will it improve one’s chances of winning.
Review these Official Contest Rules carefully. All sittings are automatically entered at time of initial family portrait sitting session.
Each sitting will be counted as one entry with an equal and non-biased probability of being chosen by a process randomly selecting the winning sitting number(s).
Entry in the Contest is subject to these Official Contest Rules.
Contest Period:
The Contest entry period begins on August 30th, 2011 at 12:00:00 am Eastern Standard Time and ends January 31st, 2012 at 11:59:59 pm Eastern Standard Time and will be exclusive to the Heirloom Portraits Fall 2011 Photo Session. The Heirloom Portraits Head Office computer server is the official time keeping device for entry to the Contest. No entries into the Contest will be accepted before or after those dates unless the Sponsor elects in its sole discretion to modify the Contest entry period. The Sponsor reserves the right to allow for minor fluctuations between the timing devices and the actual runtime of the Contest.
Conditions for Contest Materials:
Failure to review the family portrait packages at the location at which they are sold (different in each community) will result in incompliance with the Contest procedures and thus will forfeit the ‘Golden Ticket’ and prize of the free family portrait package. All contestants/winners must inspect packages before the stated due date of each promotion to receive the prize and will not be informed through any other means.
Submission must comply with III. Eligibility and Official Contest Rules. If a contestant violates Official Contest Rules the Sponsor may use its discretion to disqualify entry. Constitution of violation is held at the opinion and discretion of the Sponsor.
The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit the number of winners in each week. The Sponsor holds further right to modify, edit, adapt, and electronically alter the Contest Materials.
Prizewinner Selection and Acceptance Procedures:
The Sponsor and its designated panel of employees will choose at minimum one Contest winner per designated week. The winner will be chosen at random with odds depending on the final sitting counts per promotion per designated week. The Sponsor holds the rights and discretion to choose more than one winner per designated week and may do so without notification to any or all entrants.
As a condition of receiving the prize winners are required to proof of identification that matches the name and appearance specified on the ‘Golden Ticket’ itself as well as the respected portrait package.
Entrants who do not receive a ‘Golden Ticket’ in their family portrait package are deemed non-winners and are no longer eligible for the Contest prize.
All winners will be chosen at random with no circumstances other than chance playing a factor and the correct answer of a skill testing question.
The Prize:
The Prize is the associated family portrait package for $0.00. Prizes are subject to the entrance of the person into the contest. The Sponsor is not responsible for cancelation, or pre-emption of the Contest. The Prize is non-transferable and may not be sold or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose.
Winners will be announced on the Heirloom Portraits website (www.heirloomportraits.ca) when signed confirmation of eligibility is received.
